I’ve decided to start chronicling some of my thoughts and experiences on aikido here on my blog. While I’ve mentioned things from time time time, I’ve really only cited the fact that I’ve been at a seminar here and there, or referenced some other aikido-related website.
That having been said, I do not claim to be any sort of expert on the subject. I am a student of aikido and have been, on and off, since 1992. I hold the rank of shodan (first degree black belt). In our school, this generally means you’re a “serious student” or “now ready to learn” – a black belt is not the end of your studies – it’s just the beginning.
