Something about this post seems really familiar, but I can’t place my finger on it. No really, it reminds me of something. I could swear I’ve ranted against the phone company, whether it was Verizon or Fair Point, before… why could that be?
As it turns out, we are still having the same old problem with noise on the line, a problem which caused not only poor call quality, but also caused me to switch from Verizon/Fair Point DSL to Comcast Cable for my office’s Internet access because they never were able to rectify the issue. Here we are, almost two years later, and guess what! We STILL have noise on the line.
After getting disconnected three times on hold with Fair Point repair, we finally got through to someone (after approximately 20 minutes total hold time) who arranged for a repair tomorrow.
I can’t wait to see how this shapes up. Watch this space for updates!
