This weekend I burned through Gary Vaynerchuk’s book, “Crush It!: Why NOW Is the Time to Cash In on Your Passion.”
The key point in this book is that you need to be passionate and excited etc., etc. about your brand. And you have to be prepared to work hard. The problem is, even with a dozen cups of coffee, I don’t see myself being as passionate as Gary is about wine, unless I’m griping about stupid people (hey… maybe there’s my niche…) Okay, I need to rethink this blog post. Check back again next week to see if I’ve started pointing out idiocy for fun and profit.
But for now, I’d be more inclined to follow the advice of Tim Ferris in The 4-Hour Workweek, Expanded and Updated: Expanded and Updated, With Over 100 New Pages of Cutting-Edge Content.. Maybe I can meld the two into something that suits me. Time will tell.
